It has been studied, that for certain cases of neurological pathologies, the diagnosis and stimulation at an early age of these patients, greatly improves the speed with which personal independence is achieved. However, in the field of rehabilitation of patients with neurological diseases, the use of diagnostic and stimulation strategies that promote early independence in children is still not common. For this, the following project seeks to design, validate and manufacture a mobile platform capable of helping, in their therapy, babies with neurological pathologies that affect their mobility, which is accessible to institutions and rehabilitation centers.

We worked with a group of students from different years of the Bioengineering career of the National School of Entre Ríos during the period of 1 year in conjunction with the Teraphya rehabilitation center in the city of Paraná.

Like every citizen, people with neuromotor disorders are entitled to the same opportunities as others, that is, enjoyment, equality in treatment, dignified living conditions resulting from economic and social development. Your Human Rights are the rights inherent to your citizenship. However, the rights that refer to free movement: "elimination and adaptation of physical barriers in order that this sector of the population has access to health services, education, work, culture," and others are frequently broken.

Las Normas Uniformes de la ONU para la Igualdad de Oportunidades de las Personas con Discapacidad mencionan que los Estados deben establecer programas de acción para que el entorno físico sea accesible y para adoptar medidas que garanticen el acceso a la información y a la comunicación. En este marco, como estudiantes y docentes comprometidos socialmente con la necesidad de "practicar la universidad", es decir indagar, escuchar, pensar, dialogar e intercambiar saberes con la comunidad, pretendemos con este proyecto contribuir a que las personas con patologías neuromotrices puedan "saltar las vallas" que les impiden una real inclusión social.

On the other hand, this project aimed to strengthen the Strategic Plan for Engineering Training, since it sought to involve students in the basic cycle of the Bioengineering career so that they have an early approach of what they can achieve within this profession as also incorporate students of the higher cycle so that they can relate, integrate and consolidate the knowledge learned during the career. This promoted the decrease of early decisions of some students who leave the course without truly knowing what is Bioengineering and thus be able to generate an incentive in the study.
